Since the interim government has taken responsibility, efforts have been made to mislead people spreading false information one after another. The chief adviser made the remarks in a speech addressed to the nation on Tuesday (March 27th). Muhammad Yunus.

Dr. Yunus said, "Since the interim government has taken office, the rumors have been going on in the media and social media. People are being misled by spreading false information one after another for destabilizing the country. Rumors are being spread in various tactics. '

He also said, "One photo with another, using different events, creating confusing photocards, and even the events of other countries are being promoted as the event of this country. As the elections come to a close, such rumors will become even more terrifying. It is unknown who is behind it. We have sought the UN cooperation against the promotion of these rumors and misleading information, and the UN Secretary -General has assured to assist in this regard. ”

Stating that the first episode of the July coup was successfully completed, the chief adviser said, "The second phase of the coup began. We have to remember that we are in a war, where rumors are one of the major weapons of defeated power. '

Dr. urged the people to be vigilant about the source of the rumor. Yunus said, 'If you see rumors, you have to find the source. It cannot be neglected. There are skilled people and a large amount of money to spread rumors, the main goal of which is to fail the coup in July. We will not allow them to succeed in this attempt. '

Calling for national unity, he said, "This unity of the people is making the absconding power disturbing. They want to break this unity. Their tactics are so fine that it is not often understood, when someone has become a doll in their game. So we have to be careful, to prevent rumors from unity and to fail the conspiracy.
